  NKMZ manufactures a great variety of valves and vents for blast-furnace production: bleeder valves, equalizing valves, cold blast sliding valves, chimney, air-relief and bypass valves, air and gas throttle valves.
  Bleeding valves are designed to release gas from the blast furnace to the atmosphere.

  Equalizing valves operate as the gas stop valves provided for the blast furnace charging apparatuses.
  These valves are installed along the vertical portions of the delivery pipelines which feed gas into the area between the top bells of a charging apparatus in order to equalize gas pressure therein with that at the furnace top as well as gas pipelines to release gas from the top bell area to the atmosphere for equalizing pressure therein with the atmospheric one.
